In 2016 the Ministry of Environmental Protection published a guide to reducing exposure to the magnetic field around electrical facilities

The purpose of the guide is to provide basic knowledge about the possible ways to reduce exposure to radiation from electrical facilities.
The guide (published in Hebrew) includes recommendations for planning and construction of electrical facilities, including new transformation stations, guidelines for grounding building electrical systems and electrical grid planning with an emphasis on reducing magnetic field exposure. Also, the guide presents passive and active protection methods and new methods/technologies used today to reduce radiation exposure.
